10-day jail sentence for Springfield peeping
A Springfield man who used video cameras on his home to record his neighbor's 10-year-old daughter in her bedroom was sentenced Wednesday to 35 days in jail.
The Register-Guard reports 63-year-old Dana Wayne Bishop will get credit for 25 days already served. He was led away in handcuffs to serve 10 more days.
Bishop pleaded guilty in November to misdemeanor invasion of privacy.
The case led lawmakers to consider a bill earlier this year that would have made it a felony to secretly record video of a nude minor.
