The site where a crop duster crashed in south-central Idaho is being cleaned up by the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality.

Authorities tell The Times-News that pilot Michael Jurak of Kimberly walked away uninjured from the Monday crash in a bean field.

Bob Spencer of the Idaho Department of Agriculture says Jurak dumped the chemicals shortly after takeoff because the plane wasn't gaining altitude.

The plane was carrying Cobalt insecticide mixed with fertilizer.
