Police arrested a Clark County, Wash., man accused of shooting his adult son in the hip.
Sheriff's Sgt. Kevin Allais says deputies responded to a La Center home late Sunday after getting a 9-1-1 call from 65-year-old Barry Briemon Sr. The man told dispatchers he was suicidal and going to kill his sons and himself. The sergeant says Briemon called back to say he shot his son.
Briemon was booked into jail on a charge of attempted murder. His 48-year-old son -- Barry Briemon Jr. -- was flown to a local hospital.
Police say another son was taken into custody because he had an outstanding felony warrant for his arrest and he violated a restraining order that forbid him to be near his brother.
