Kootenai County deputies arrested four people suspected of stealing a cart load of merchandise from a Hayden Walmart.
Around 8 a.m. Saturday, Walmart employees reported several people had taken a cart full of stolen merchandise out the front door of the store and loaded it into a vehicle. Employees were able to provide a description of the vehicle and direction of travel of the car to deputies.
Deputies stopped the car in the Kohl's parking lot and saw the stolen property in the backseat. During a search of the car, multiple stolen items were found, including driver's licenses and credit cards belonging to victims of identity theft. Marijuana, paraphernalia and needled were also found inside the vehicle.
Rebecca L. Turner, 34, of Spokane was arrested for conspiracy to commit burglary, possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Lela L. Haisley, 33, of Spokane was arrested for conspiracy to commit burglary, false information to law enforcement, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. She also had a warrant for drugs out of Washington.
Brendan M. Fletcher, 26, of Spokane was arrested for burglary, possession of stolen property and grand theft.
Dustin M. Davis, 36 of Hoquiam, WA was arrested for conspiracy to commit burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia.
