COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho -

Authorities have arrested a suspect in a burglary at a disabled Coeur d'Alene man's home in the 900 block of N. 16th Street on August 4.

During the course of their investigation, information was developed that led detectives to issue an arrest warrant for 24-year-old Derek Hague.

Coeur d'Alene Police detectives and members of the North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force located him Tuesday night around 8 p.m. at the corner of 14th and Young Avenue. Hague attempted to flee on foot but after a short pursuit was arrested and taken into custody.

In addition to charges he's facing for the burglary of Jack Ross's home, Hague was also charged with a felony possession of drugs, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and misdemeanor obstructing.

A second suspect who took part in the burglary remains at large.
