COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho -

Law enforcement officers in northern Idaho say $15,000 worth of copper wire along with $4,000 of other equipment has been stolen from a marina near Coeur d'Alene.

The Coeur d'Alene Press reports an employee of the Hagadone Marine Group discovered the missing wire and outlet boxes when he went to get the equipment for an upcoming boat show. The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office says the wire was last used in August.

The theft remains under investigation.
