CdA Police trying to get sex assault suspect out of home
Coeur d'Alene Police have set up a perimeter around a home where they are trying to talk a sexual assault suspect out of a residence.
A minor girl reported she was sexually assaulted. She was held against her will for an unknown amount of time and was able to flee the home to tell someone after the suspect, the girl's uncle, fell asleep.
There is evidence of physical abuse.
Police tried to contact the suspect but he is refusing to come out of the residence. The man is known to law enforcement.
Homes in the area surrounding the residence under surveillance have been evacuated as a precaution. 7th Street has been closed down from Annie to McFarland.
