One person has been hospitalized with burns to their leg following a house fire at 4301 West Appaloosa Road in Coeur d'Alene.

When firefighters arrived at the home they found the garage was fully involved and the fire spreading to the rest of the house.

Neighbors said they heard some explosions before they noticed the fire.

The condition of that homeowner who was taken to Kootenai Medical Center is not known at this time.
