An elderly man was crossing a street in Latah County when he was hit by a pickup truck Wednesday morning.

Alvin Wilson, 49, was driving southbound on Main Street in Kendrick, and turning on 7th Street.

According to the Idaho State Police, Wilson didn't see Edward Stewart, 84, walking across the crosswalk on Main Street and hit him.

Stewart was taken to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, where he died.
