Body found in woods in northern Idaho

PONDERAY, Idaho -

Authorities in northern Idaho say a body has been found in a wooded area in Ponderay.

The Ponderay Police Department tells the Coeur d'Alene Press the body was found Saturday and an autopsy will be scheduled. The remains have not been identified.

Police have not released information about the cause of death or the condition of the body.
