NORTH IDAHO DIDN'T ESCAPE THE STORM'S WRATH!
ABOUT 100 TREES WERE UPROOTED AT SILVERWOOD R-V PARK.
THOSE TREES CRUSHED CARS AND MOTORHOMES.
KXLY4'S KYLEE CRUZ SPOKE TO CAMPERS WHO WERE THERE
WHEN THE STORM CAME BARRELING THROUGH.
IT'S THE CALM *AFTER THE STORM FOR THE ENTIRE SILVERWOOD
this is the tree that broke off and actually hit the
side of the motorhome
YESTERDAY'S STORM UPROOTED TREES, DAMAGED CARS AND
SENT BRANCHES FLYING.
it was pretty scary to see everything fallen down
ERNIE POWER WAS INSIDE HIS R-V WHEN THE POWERFUL STORM
kids toys were blowing and i had to step out and get
them and that's when trees started coming down
WITHIN 5 MINUTES.
ERNIE COULDN'T BELIEVE ALL THE DESTRUCTION, FROM THE
TREES THAT SMASHED HIS MOTORHOME.
had one hit the front, one hit the back, one when
across and covered our car

IT'S CLEAN-UP TIME.
ALMOST 40 EMPLOYEES WERE OUT TODAY, PICKING UP TREE
BRANCHES AND CLEANING THE MESS.
MOTHER NATURE LEFT BEHIND.
THE STORM PACKED A POWERFUL PUNCH, AND - TURNED A
TYPICALLY PEACEFUL PLACE INTO A DISASTER ZONE.
ERNIE IS STAYING POSITIVE THOUGH -- STUFF IS JUST

WHAT'S MOST IMPORTANT?
HE'S SAFE AND HIS FELLOW CAMPERS ARE TOO.
the best news we had is that nobody was hurt throughout
the entire park
