Most affordable cities for renters

Even with increased demand, a new study finds some U.S. cities are still refreshingly rent-friendly.
9. Seattle -- The presence of many of the country’s leading tech and industrial companies in and around Seattle have helped the city avoid the worst of the recession. Experts expect rents to increase, but for now only 22.7% of renters pay more than 50% of their household income on rent and utilities.
