The Chronicle of Philanthropy has released its annual list of America's biggest donors of 2012. Take a look at the 15 most generous donors.

2. Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan. Donations: $498.8 million. Zuckerberg is a co-founder of Facebook and serves as the social networking site’s chairman and chief executive. His wife, Chan, is a pediatrician. Most of their donations have gone to the Silicon Valley Community Foundation.
