SPOKANE, Wash. - A man is in critical condition Saturday after being rescued from the Spokane River.
Spokane rescue crews responded to a call near People's Park where several people had been 'body-floating' down the river.
One man drifted away from the group and got pinned under a log for seven minutes.
Another rafter spotted the man and helped assist in the rescue, and started CPR until crews could take over.
The man was able to regain breathing on his own but was taken to the hospital in critical condition
The group of 'body-floaters' were not wearing life jackets and had reportedly been drinking.
