MANSFIELD, Wash. - The state fire marshal's office says the state is mobilizing to help firefighters in Douglas County battle a wildfire near Mansfield.
The fire broke out Sunday and has burned about 350 acres. The fire marshal's office says 75 homes are threatened and some residents have been told to prepare to evacuate.
Firefighters are mopping up two other wildfires in Washington.
Chelan County says a fire that burned about 180 acres Sunday at Wenatchee was 90 percent contained Sunday night. Residents of eight homes had been urged to evacuate and another 60 were threatened.
And, a fire Sunday afternoon near Benton City burned about 600 acres at Badger Canyon and put smoke over the Tri-Cities before it was controlled.
