Subway armed robbery caught on camera

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - Spokane Valley Major Crimes Detectives need the public's help identifying an armed robbery suspect.

Detectives responded Thursday, December 8th around 2:30 p.m. to the scene of the robbery that had taken place at the Subway at 2114 North Pines in Spokane Valley.

In a video posted to the Spokane County Sheriff's Office's facebook page, the suspect can be seen walking up to the counter and displaying what appears to be a handgun to the cashier.

As the man demanded money, he covered his face and instructed the employee not to look at him.

The employee removed the till from the register and placed it on the counter as the suspect grabbed the money.

The suspect, described as a 5'6"-5'8" possibly bald white male, proceeds to drop the money on the floor, pick it up, retrieve his gun from the counter, and exit the restaurant, leaving on foot.
