VANCOUVER, Wash. - Police in Vancouver, Washington, say a 44-year-old woman is dead after a single-vehicle crash that ended at a Clark Public Utilities substation.
The Columbian reports there was only minor damage to the substation and no reported outages.
The woman was not immediately identified. Sgt. Pat Johns says she was dead at the scene Thursday afternoon.
Johns says the driver was thrown from the vehicle after she lost control and rolled it. The officer says the vehicle righted itself and kept going, crashing through the fence of the power substation.
Johns says speed and alcohol may have been factors in the crash.
