MEDFORD, Ore. - Detectives searching for a second suspect in the slaying of an Ashland man say the suspect may be in the Portland-Vancouver area.
Othon Robert Campos Jr. and Merlin Elmo Bound III, both of Medford, were indicted Thursday in Medford on murder, robbery, burglary and other charges.
They are accused of breaking into the home of 62-year-old Frank Ronald Damiano, also known as Tony Della Pena, at a mobile home park and killing him. Police found his body last week.
Bound was arrested Tuesday.
Detectives say Campos frequents pawn shops and does not seem to have a car.
Bound's wife has said he did not kill Damiano.
