PORTLAND, Ore. - The FBI is hunting a 19-year-old former competitive cheerleader from upscale Lake Oswego who was accused of sex trafficking in a case involving a 17-year-old high school acquaintance.
The agency said Julia Lynn Haner was allowed to live at home while wearing a monitoring device, but she removed it over the weekend and vanished.
Haner was once a competitive cheerleader. She and a 30-year-old man were arrested in April on charges handed up by a federal grand jury. She pleaded not guilty.
Court documents say Haner was accused of recruiting a girl she used to ride with on the school bus to Lake Oswego High School.
Officers saw the 17-year-old in an Internet prostitution ad. She's been returned to her family and no longer attends the high school.
