BOISE, Idaho - A Boise man has pleaded guilty to embezzling public funds after federal prosecutors said he took money from a Job Corps bank account.
Forty-six-year-old Randolph Louis Deyton entered the guilty plea in U.S. District Court on Thursday.
According to the plea agreement, Deyton agreed that while he worked for the federal government running the Work Based Learning Program, he wrongly withdrew money from a Job Corps bank account and used a Job Corps debit card for personal use.
Prosecutors say he embezzled nearly $10,000. He faces up to 10 years in prison when he is sentenced on July 14.
