COURE D'ALENE, Idaho - A bronze statue that was stolen from a Coeur d'Alene park in January has been found in one piece.
"Kate" is a life-size depiction of a 1920s-era woman pedaling a bicycle with a dog at her side. It's valued at $25,000.
The Spokesman-Review reports people assumed it had been cut up and sold for scrap.
But a man looking for shed antlers Monday found it on vacant property southeast of Coeur d'Alene.
Officials plan to return "Kate" to her place in Riverstone Park with modifications to stop thieves.
