Driver ejected from car after sliding off Highway

DEER PARK, Wash. - A female driver was ejected from her car after sliding off the roadway at Highway 395 and Half Moon Rd., south of Deer Park Thursday morning. The driver was sent to Sacred Heart with non life-threatening injuries.

The vehicle was traveling southbound and passing another vehicle in the left lane when it slid off the roadway to the east and went down the dirt embankment. The vehicle flipped onto its top and the driver was ejected.

There were a few slid-offs Thursday morning on Highway 2 and Highway 295 where ice is becoming more of a problem for morning commuters.
