Crown homicide suspect arrested

SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police arrested a suspect in the homicide in the 500 block of east Crown on January 24.

Darrell Tucker, 30, was arrested after 6 a.m. Monday.

About 1 a.m. on Monday, a Spokane patrol officer spotted a Subaru Legacy that Major Crimes Detectives were searching for in relation to the homicide investigation. The vehicle was taken in as evidence and Major Crimes advised there was probable cause to arrest Tucker.

Just before 4:30 a.m., another officer spotted a BMW connected to Tucker at a residence on west 13th. The residence belongs to a relative of Tucker's. Tucker was arrested at the home just after 6 a.m.

Tucker was booked into Spokane County Jail for 2nd Degree Murder.

The Spokane Medical Examiner said Brandon Michael Bushy, 31, died due to gunshot wounds.  His body was found on the sidewalk in a pool of blood.
