LIBERTY LAKE, Wash. - The HUB Sports Center will celebrates its 10 years of service to youth and families throughout the Inland Northwest by hosting HUB-apalooza, its annual family festival on Friday, September 29 from 4-7 p.m.
The goal of the HUB-apalooza is to showcase the variety of activities and events that take place at the HUB Sports Center. All five basketball courts, as well as the upstairs mezzanine and studios will have activities for kids and families to participate in. These activities include basketball, soccer, pickleball, baseball, ping pong, aerobics, and martial arts. Some food and drinks will be provided.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 4:30 p.m. with the Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce and Greater Spokane Incorporated.
"We are inviting the community to come celebrate our 10 year anniversary with us," said Phil Champlin, Executive Director of the HUB Sports Center. "Bring the family and explore some of the fun events and activities that take place at the HUB Sports Center."
HUB Sports Center is a 501c3 nonprofit sports facility. It opened in 2007 and has operated with a positive cash flow since October 2010. More than 66,000 square feet of space is used for community events, outreach programs, and athletic activities. Its purpose is to provide events that have a positive impact on youth and the community.
