Longtime Spokane TV anchor Nadine Woodward joins the KXLY Broadcast Group staff as a news anchor for both KXLY4 News as well as KXLY 920.

Woodward, formerly of KREM-TV, is one of Spokane?s most respected and favorite news personalities.

"I am very thankful and excited about the opportunity KXLY has given me to return to work and do what I love most," Woodward said Friday morning.

Woodward will begin co-hosting the KXLY 920 AM morning news program on Monday, March 15 where she will join Bud Nameck from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. on weekday mornings.

Later this spring Woodward will return to television when she begins co-anchoring Good Morning Northwest HD with Mike Gonzalez from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. Kalae Chock will continue to co-anchor Good Morning Northwest HD with Mike Gonzalez from 5 to 6 and will handle reporter duties during the second hour of the program.

?I am honored that viewers have been so gracious about my return. And now that I?m doing mornings, it will feel really good waking up with them, instead of putting them to sleep,? Woodward said.

?I have had great respect for Nadine's talent, integrity and ability to connect with an audience for the entire 20 years she has been on the air,? Steve Herling, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the KXLY Broadcast Group, said. ?I am delighted that she is joining our team of experienced professionals on both our radio and television stations.?

In addition to her work on Good Morning Northwest and KXLY 920 Woodward will also be involved in a number of other station-related projects and productions.
