Driver, 72, bounced in and out of ditch in northern Minnesota
A 72-year-old woman who bounced in and out of a highway ditch in Minnesota unknowingly lost her backseat passenger.
Louise Ericksen was driving south on Highway 72 in northern Minnesota on Sunday when her car veered into the ditch, hit a sign and broke the back window. Kendall Ericksen, 15, was thrown through the broken glass, the Minnesota Highway Patrol told the Duluth News Tribune.
Louise Ericksen steered back onto the highway and kept heading south, unaware of what had happened, troopers said.
When she and the front seat passenger realized Kendall was missing, they drove back to the area and found her standing along the highway with minor injuries, according to the News Tribune.
