SPOKANE -

Police are looking for a man they say robbed a north Spokane convenience store Sunday morning and then skated away.

The robbery happened just after 9:00 a.m. when police say a man with a gun walked into the Kwik Stop & Go located at Crestline and Wellesley.

Investigators say this is the second robbery at the store in as many days.

An employee at the convenience store says a similar robbery happened at about 7:30 Saturday morning.

Employees say officers were outside the store before Sunday's robbery, possibly looking for Saturday's suspect.

According to a clerk, the suspect waited until officers left at about 8:40 in the morning before robbing the place. Employees say the suspect took off on a skateboard after the robbery.

Employees describe the suspect as a white man, about 6'0" tall, with blond hair. He was wearing a white bandanna pulled over his face during the robberies.

Police are asking anyone with information about either robbery to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
