SPOKANE -

The Spokane Shock have a new head coach, and they didn't have to go very far to find him.

Team president Adam Nebeker confirmed to KXLY that offensive coordinator Andy Olson has accepted the job and will replace Rob Keefe who's contract was not renewed by the team earlier this month. A press conference will be held on Monday to introduce Olson as the franchise's fourth head coach.

The former Shock wide receiver joined Keefe's staff early last season as offensive coordinator after the team parted ways with Fred Biletnikoff Jr. following an 0-2 start. Olson won an AF2 title as a player in Spokane in 2009.
