Morning collision sends mother and child to hospital

SPOKANE -- A mother and her child involved in a collision with a semi-truck were taken to a Spokane hospital Thursday morning with minor injuries.The accident happened around 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of 3rd and Thor.Rescue crews had to extricate the mother and child from the Jeep.Police are talking to witnesses to figure out who caused the accident.The scene was cleared by 8 a.m.
