VA Medical Center opens new building

SPOKANE -- The Spokane VA Medical Center expanded by 10,000 feet Friday with the opening of a new special care and pharmacy building.The nearly $5 Million will provide additional space for surgeries and orthopedics. The facility also nearly doubles the amount of pharmacy space.About a half dozen other buildings at the VA Medical Center will be updated over the next five years.
