SPOKANE -- The Spokane Police Department is looking for assistance from the community to help identify a woman who was seen on surveillance video throwing a child down to the pavement in front of the STA Bus Plaza. At 7:30 a.m. Wednesday morning surveillance video caught images of a woman forcibly pulling at her child and then kicking him to the ground.“She had a little toddler, looked about to be about two years old following her, something made her angry, it looked like in front of three witnesses,” Spokane Police Officer Tim Moses said. “She goes after him, snatches him up and brings him back to the stroller and she knocks him completely off his feet.”The child landed face first on the sidewalk but the woman pulled him off the ground and kept walking. Other people who saw the abuse confronted her but the woman told them off.

In addition Crime Stoppers has made this case their Crime of the Week and are offering a cash reward for the person who helps identify this woman and assists in bringing her to justice. If you have any information regarding this incident you can call Crime Stoppers at 509-327-5111 or you can submit a tip to 1-800-222-TIPS.RELATED VIDEO: STA Plaza surveillance video of kicking incident
