COEUR D'ALENE -- Both Coeur d'Alene Police and Kootenai County Sheriff deputies are investigating a report of a robbery at the pharmacy inside the Shopko at 217 W. Ironwood in Coeur d'Alene.

Police responded to the Shopko at about 9:00 Wednesday evening when employees called 911 saying the store's pharmacy had been robbed.

Police arrested two people in connection with the crime, one of which was tackled and detained by a store employee until police arrived. Store employees told police that they believed at least one of the suspects had a gun.

Coeur d'Alene Police officers, with help from Kootenai County deputies, searched the store looking for another suspect, but found nobody matching the suspect's description inside. Meanwhile police turned customers away from the store and held other customers inside, questioning them before eventually letting them leave.

Coeur d'Alene police say one of the suspects was transported the hospital when they had a seizure while sitting in the back of a patrol car.
