SPOKANE -- The Spokane County Prosecutor's Office has confirmed they will file charges of vehicular homicide against Lester LaFleur for the death of his four-year-old son Gerrin this last August.

Gerrin was with his father and siblings in the truck when they were out gathering firewood. He fell out of the truck and died. Family members have contended the truck was parked at the time and his death was nothing more than a tragic accident.

Investigators however believe that the truck was moving and that Gerrin was either riding on top of the truck or on top of a wood pile in the back of the truck when he fell from the vehicle.

Prosecutors agreed with the findings of investigators and plans to charge Lester LaFleur for his son's death as soon as Thursday.
