The Washington State University alumnus found last week unconscious and bleeding along a roadway has been moved from Sacred Heart’s Intensive Care Unit and is now listed in satisfactory condition.

Kristen Grindley, 23, was found last week along Pullman-Albion Road. Detectives say she has injuries consistent with either falling from a vehicle or being hit by one.

The Whitman County Sheriff’s office has not arrested anyone, but several people who know Grindley, including her boyfriend, have been questioned. They’re calling him a person of interest in the case and seized his car.

Investigators also searched Grindley’s house, but did not say if they found anything that would help solve the case.
