SPOKANE, Wash. - If you're looking to start 2017 stress free, you may want to consider “floating.”
“Float Spokane” offers an hour of silent serenity in one of the pods. The pods are filled with salt water and heated to 98.6 degrees to give the body the sensation that it's floating in mid-air. Floating is becoming popular with big name athletes like Stephen Curry, but it's also gaining ground with everyday people looking to disconnect for a while.
“An hour is really fast,” said co-owner Jennifer Riggan. “I think it's very important for all parts of your life to stop for an hour. When you're in that one hour and you're soaking in Epson salt and magnesium sulfate, which we are all deficient in, it's a huge plus.”
Float Spokane can be found in Northtown Square and Liberty Lake.
