Lawmakers in Washington, D.C. are calling for a ban on plastic firearms made from 3-D printers.

A Texas group called Defense Distributed has assembled a plastic handgun made with parts made from the printer.

It has also test fired the gun and posted instructions online so others can duplicate it.

The test firing has reignited calls to ban 3-D printed guns.

Critics fear the gun could easily fall into the wrong hands.

They also have safety concerns because plastic guns would be invisible to metal detectors.

Do you agree with lawmakers?  Should they be banned?
