A Wisconsin community has a message for parents with kids who are bullies: if you can't help stop the problem, you'll have to pay up.

Parents of children who bully others may now be fined by the city of Monona for their child's behavior under a new law in that community.

The rule only applies to parents who are labeled uncooperative.

Parents who make a good-faith effort to address the problem at home won't receive a ticket which carries a 114-dollar fine.

The Monona police chief says he expects the new ordinance will be used sparingly.
