A federal court judge has cleared the way for college football and basketball players to go after a share of money generated by television broadcasts.

The judge, yesterday, dismissed a motion by the NCAA to prevent athletes from getting money from broadcasts of their games.

And that decision clears the way for a class action lawsuit, brought forward by former college stars, to go forward.

The case goes before a judge in June and if the plaintiffs win, they'll be given a cut of licensing fees brought in by video games and live broadcasts.

Should college athletes be given a cut of the money generated by their efforts and use of their names?

Or do you feel they're getting enough already in the form of scholarships, free meal plans and housing?
