It's Friday, it's summer, it's quiet, so let's do a mindless Sound Off!
USA Today reports the average cost of a wedding is close to $27,000 and that's not counting the honeymoon.
What's even more amazing, that's actually down from $28,000 in pre-recession 2008.
In 2011, TheKnot.com, reported couples average about $12,000 for the reception and $5,000 for the engagement ring.
Considering the average U.S. income is $45,000, experts say spending that much on a wedding isn't such a great idea.
Sound off: does $27,000 seem ridiculous or right on?
