The 2012 World Happiness Report was released recently. Find out which countries are the happiest places in the world.
1. Costa Rica. Costa Rica tops the Happy Planet Index for the second time. With the country's high life expectancy (higher than in the U.S.), a goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2021, and a degree of well-being that outranks many richer nations, Costa Rica offers a winning combination of happy people and happy planet.
