The wedding between Death Cab for Cutie front man Ben Gibbard and actress Zooey Deschanel was so under-the-radar that it wasn't until the week after the Sept. 19, 2009, ceremony that word leaked out about the marriage, and then only after Deschanel's publicist confirmed a question from People magazine.
