  • ...Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 4 am PST Wednesday above 4000 feet... A Winter Weather Advisory above 4000 feet remains in effect until 4 am PST Wednesday.
  • Impacts/timing: steady precipitation will continue into the early morning hours which will help slow the rise of the snow level overnight. However by 4am the precipitation should significantly decrease which will aloe the snow level to steadily rise to near 6000 feet by dawn.
  • Snow accumulations: 2 to 5 inches in the valleys above 4000 feet through early Wednesday. The mountains could receive up to 12 inches by Wednesday...including Lolo Pass.
  • Locations impacted include...Dixie...Elk City Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while driving.
