- ...Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 6 am MDT Thursday... The National Weather Service in Missoula has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for slushy snow and accumulation on vegetation...which is in effect until 6 am MDT Thursday.
- Impacts/timing: moderate to heavy snow showers will develop this afternoon. The main impacts from snow will be low visibilities and brief slushy accumulations on roadways. There is an isolated risk for branches to break due to snow accumulations.
- Locations impacted include...Highway 2 Kalispell to Libby... Highway 37 Eureka to Libby...Highway 56 Bull Lake Road... Highway 93 Eureka to Whitefish...Highway 28 bakers grade... Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties and could damage trees and power lines. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while driving.
