Streisand's retirement from paid public gigs proved short-lived. In 2006, she announced a 20-date tour to raise money and awareness for multiple issues. She is seen here singing the first song on the tour's opening night in Philadelphia on Oct. 4, 2006. The tour grossed nearly $92.5 million and set box-office records.
